While you drive your neighbor's car, mind if I take yours for a spin?

might have been mentioned already in your thread (sorry i didn't go through all 100 pages), but your apartment/condo allows you to work on your car in the parking garage?

I had issues at my father's cooperative building with the Board and working on the car. My rental building now is pretty cool about it. It really boils down to insurance issues. If the car falls on you or someone gets hurt, they will name the building, the Board, the property manager and everyone else lol.

Yeah I just do basic stuff though. I am never working on it for more than a few hours at a time.

Put on an EVS 70SSP this weekend to try out a 70mm exhaust for awhile. Amuse Euro single isn't going anywhere so don't ask. Started to develop some small rattle in the resonator, which I believe started after one of my diff mounts failed and allowed the axles to make small contact with the piping near the rear of the resonator. A friend has a great resource for repairing titanium exhausts so should be no problem to fix.

Definitely a fan of the 70mm EVS, amazing exhaust for the price. It is definitely a lot raunchier and louder than the Amuse 60mm but I like it and will be keeping it for sure. Overall I prefer the more subdued but angry crisp and clean sound of the Amuse to the raunchy bassy growly sound of the EVS but it will be cool to be able to change it up when I want. I have a Toda 60mm to 70mm test pipe on the way, once I get that and a header in I will take the car in for another round of FlashPro tuning with the 70mm installed. The reason I went with an EVS 70 is because the tip is similar size to the Amuse Euro. Amuse is 100mm, EVS is 90mm tip. And both have nicely designed main exhaust canisters. The tip on the Amuse Euro is perfection though.

Like many of the "extra" parts I have purchased, they were mainly bought to promote operation second S2000.

Haha I knew you would be upset. I will let you know once I get the exhaust back. I really think the issue comes down to to exhaust making slight contact against the lower 06 exhaust tunnel before I "adjusted" it, and mainly the diff mount failing without me realizing it for awhile. So it's hard to just blame the exhaust.

Upset doesnt even describe my feels.

was this contact that happened, extreme?

Are you cutting the resonator off or repairing entirely?

Not the contact wasn't extreme but it happened right behind the resonator. Small scuff in piping behind resonator. Also the piping before the resonator was making slight contact at certain times before we adjusted the exhaust tunnel. Looking through the exhaust opening I don't see anything with the resonator so I am guessing it is just a small crack internally or something. It only makes a sound if the exhaust is at a certain temperature, usually after it has warmed up once and then cooled a bit for awhile. But enough to be annoying.

Will be repairing resonator. If they don't think that is a good idea I could make it resonator less, but shouldn't be necessary. I really want to try to convince Amuse to make a 70mm Euro Single. Even if that means it has to be resonator less. Let's make it happen.

I really like the EVS 70mm. Interested to see what kind of gains you see from it. Sorry to hear about the Amuse developing a rattle. Fragility is definitely a huge downside to a titanium exhaust, especially on a street car.
