Love this steering wheel. Makes getting in and out of the car much easier as a tall person with bucket seats. I realized I was folding myself up more than I really needed so my entrance and exit can be much more graceful now. The feel of the grip is much more solid than the OEM wheel as well. The OEM is nice, but it uses pretty soft padding so it numbs things slightly. The Monte Carlo rim is more of an elliptical shape as well where the OEM is more rounded. I think some might think the Monte Carlo feels thinner than the OEM wheel but it is just that the grips are much more pronounced I think. After getting a little time in to give it the business I love the way the wheel feels while driving the car in anger.

Something else I was going to mention awhile back was how much I like Griot's Interior Cleaner. It can be used very effectively to clean pretty much every interior surface but glass. I got a small spot on the jersey mesh fabric on one of my seats, and with a few quick sprays, some agitation with a brush, and blot with microfiber cloth the spot is 100% gone with no effect on the color of the fabric. Back to looking brand new.

Oh also forgot to mention. A good friend of mine has the exact same setup in his track car and after some discussion I found out he already took the time to wire up his cruise control to his roof switch so he will be helping me do the same with mine. Not having cruise doesn't really bother me, but sounds like a pretty easy process so might as will get it up and running.
That, I will be interested in seeing
I will try to do a nice write up with some pictures when we do it.

Not sure how super quick hi-beam flashing will help with that. Why do you need to quickly flash your hi-beams?

Haha sorry I thought you were f@#king with me.

Yes there are cases where I will be doing runs up and down at night with friends and around blind corners we will sometimes flash high beams to make sure someone coming the other way knows we are coming. Particularly around blind high speed corners. So being able to do this without taking my hands off the wheel is important. Also to help scare wild life out of the way. Deer don't respond well to flashing, but other little woodland creatures do.

Are you referring to the CEs or the Weds? I know wheels up to 9" wide are STR legal, which includes the Weds.
