I had a friend help cleanup and apply a protective coating to all of my wheels and the Spoon calipers and so far I am pretty sold. Went out for a few runs after we had applied the coating and the wheels are still shiny and clean as well as the calipers. Should make cleaning the wheels and calipers much easier in the future and keep the new CEs looking nice and pristine.
Testing with the new sound setup has gone very well. I am getting a very very clean sound now with good stereo imaging. Just have to find some time to get everything synced up and edited into something interesting.

And to answer both of your questions the coating is Ceramic Pro Strong. They also make a coating called Ceramic Pro Light and Ceramic Pro 9H used for paint and other surfaces. But this is one many of my track friends have had done on their wheels and brakes with great results. Keeps brake dust and rubber from sticking and if it does makes it very easy to clean off. Very similar to coatings like Opticoat or Kleers I think, but went with this based on recommendations from friends. I am not sure if it is available directly to customers yet though. I believe it is a German company that makes it.

If I had the need to hot swap wheels at the track I would probably just run some black EVS tuning 17mm lugs.

Did a spark plug change yesterday and decided when I ordered the plugs to order some new collars for the shift change lever. There is a smaller lower collar and larger upper collar on the lever. I assumed after 100,000 miles these collars might have warn a little and they are cheap so I decided to replace them. The difference is very subtle but the shift lever does feel like it has slightly less play.

I know you already replaced it but this could've been an option? : http://www.nengun.com/car-garage-ami...0-shift-collar
