The Final Stretch!
It's been one huge test of patience, dedication, and discipline for me this year but we're finally here everyone! I'm happy to say that the car has been painted! The weather has been a bit cold lately here in Florida so the paint has been left to cure for the next several days before final wet-sanding and buffing. In the meantime, the soft top is being deleted for final assembly and install of the Mugen hardtop.
I have to say, I didn't realize how many pieces came with the Mugen Hardtop. The actual instructions tell you to remove the soft top because it comes with interior plastic panels to cover up the inside of the car for a nice OEM look.
As usual, here's some eye-porn for everyone!
Dark Gray Base Coat on the hardtop...
Getting ready to apply 1st coat of clear...
After 1st coat of clear...
Tamon Design Rear Spoiler...
After being fully painted. It's really hard to capture the details from this color. At certain lighting, you'll see some purple tones, some teal metallics, a lot of blue. It's really flip-floppy depending on light but i LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE it!
Tail-lights back on, spoiler fitted, exhaust on, rear diffuser is curing at the moment...
Firing up the tail lights for the first time. You'll notice the exhaust fitment isn't that great in the picture. I didn't realize that AP1 hangers were needed for this exhaust. Gonna have to stop by Honda later to pick them up and re-adjust for better fitment...
The front
Stay tuned for more everyone!

Lol thanks! Yah, it's gonna stay white for now anyway. I could've removed the engine and had the bay painted too but paying for the extra labor to remove the engine and not doing anything else to it would be a waste. So I opted to wait til I saved up enough to shave the engine bay, wire tuck and forced induction so that all of that goes in at the same time. Knocking 3 birds out with 1 stone would save me more in the long run opposed to having to remove engine now, paint it, remove it later and risk scratching it up

Thanks everyone!!! I'm so excited to finally have the car back soon. Still have a long journey ahead with this project, but for now this will do. The next venture to come would be the engine bay naturally. Still undecided whether to keep the F22C and build upon it or do a swap. I guess we'll see as time goes by
