It's all there in that thread. Yes, I bought the CR cushions and reinforcements. I fabricated a metal plate to help support the wing. I had a shop drill the holes. It was difficult, but it was well worth it. If I were you, I'd just get a CR trunklid. It's just that much easier, but more expensive.
My tire was leaking air last night...when I got home it was at 9.5 psi. Time to slap on the spare:
The flat tire was the right rear tire. Per the owner's manual, you have to slap on the good front wheel to the rear hub, and put the spare at the front. This prevents damage to the differential. The car didn't feel good to drive at all in this manner. It kept listing to the right with the small donut tire. This is only a temporary problem.
Honda confirms arrival of my new wheel to come in on Wednesday. So I hope to finally rock my wheels by then.

A milestone has been achieved with this build. What began as a stock GPW AP2 slowly transformed into a build that focused on OEM quality, subtle mods, and a vision that can be appreciated by those who are fans of the S2000.
First, here's my old AP2V2 wheels, off the car. Sold them the same night I got the CR wheels in.
The first meet I attended with the new wheels and tires. OEM CR wheels with Dunlop Zirezza Star Spec ZII in CR tire sizes (215/45-17, 255/40-17). My initial impressions were that these ZII's were definitely quite responsive, no difference in road noise from the Z1's, and the 255 over the 245 gave very noticeable lateral grip. The car feels much more grippy, more responsive, and more fun, with all the changes I've added since last week at the shop.
Took a run in the mountains and got some long exposure shots in. I felt very confident in the car with these new tires, and the differential collars added a nice feel to the acceleration and when shifting gears.
So now...where do we go from here? My next plans are to get some side and rear diffusers, add in the DIY footwell lighting, and eventually a hardtop in the future. But if I never add another mod to this car again, I would be happy with the way it is now.

Personally not a fan of the footwell lighting, feel like its too bright and comes off a little tacky.
Car looks great right now.
gut that softtop and get a hardtop
