Are you intending to fit any variety of filter over that turbo inlet?

Yes, for shows/drag/dyno the velocity stack will be on, otherwise, just a filter on the turbo

I am using a product called "Steel" I believe is what my body guy said.. the engine bay is going under a coat of self etching and a coat of high performance primer on Thursday!!

GOT PROGRESS TODAY! WOOT! Got my fuel lines all run and mounted, fuel rail and regulator mounted on the motor and FINALLY finished welding all the seams and templates in the bay, just a bit more grinding and then sanding and the bay is ready for primer! THURSDAY THE BAY WILL BE IN PRIMER!

As usual, enough of my mouth.. on to pics..

BIG SHOUT TO LJ AND EVERYONE AT FULL BLOWN!!!

Rail and regulator mounted and line loosely fit, still need to get a good vise to tighten them down without scratching things up!

Fuel lines back to front

Fuel lines front to back

Rears of the shock towers

Firewall seams all welded up!

Firewall fully welded, just needs grinding and sanding!!

Im really glad I got moving on the bay again, feels great!

More updates, yesterday I spent the day removing the front subframe, suspension, power steering, brakees, and grinding off the old rubberized undercoating in the wheel wells, and grinding the back of my welds, and recoated the wheel wells with rubberized undercoating (forgot to take pics before taping the car off) and then taped the car for primer! Today I am going to finish grinding in the corners, sanding down any painted areas and tonight it goes under 3 coats of primer! 1 coat of self etching to bite into the metal, then two coats of high performance primer to give the all metal something to sink its teeth into

PICS!

Pictures of the driver side wheel well, unfortunately only about half way through smoothing things out.. this was a horrid part of the build, but neccasary!

Front end fully stripped!

Taping just about done! God I cant wait to see this thing move forward!!! SO happy with the progress so far..
