Can you describe the benefits of swapping out the AP2 clutch slave cylinder for the AP1 version?

I have a 2007 AP2 and when I upshift, the revs hang briefly after I let the clutch out. Also, my clutch pedal is slightly sticky when I press it all the way in. Just wondering if getting an AP1 slave cylinder will fix it.

Well as we all know, the AP2 slave cylinder has the clutch delay valve. The AP1 slave cylinder does not have this, giving a more direct clutch feel. As far as your clutch pedal being a little sticky you probably need some grease where the slave cylinder meets the shift fork. If you don't want the CDV, you can just remove it from your AP2 slave, you don't necessarily have to buy the AP1 slave cylinder.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I need some opinions guys, would you all rather see gunmetal CE's on my car (17x7.5 +50 and 17x9 +63) or gold RPF1's (17x9 +45 all around)?

CEs are my favorite wheel, but you might get tired of the standard fitment S2000 ones. Honestly, I absolutely love how your car looks with the black RPF1s!

This is what I was going to do, considering I can't decide which wheels to go with.
That gunmetal CE28 looks splendid.

Of the two I would choose the gunmetal CEs.

i hate standard fitment ce's and te's for that matter. If you are gonna run a "s2000 fitment" Volk, find the se37k please!
So of the choices........keep the black rpf1's

+1 on the black rpf1's! or 9+45 SBC's all around.. you had that on your old NFR and it was perfect

I think I'm just going to sell my 17x8 +45 fronts to fund 17x9 +45 and run a wider tire. It would benefit me during auto-x season too

Good plan! and it's more economical. If you haven't picked up a stiffer front sway bar I'd highly suggest doing that alongside the wider wheels/tires up front.
