I have been super busy with my personal life the last month or so...haven't had much time to do any car stuff :/

I have done a few small things to the car such as replacing the cabin air filter which was disgusting lol

I also spent a day working on the paint of the car a couple weeks ago. Started off with a claybar, then went over the car with a Porter Cable orbital and some Menzerna polish. I finished the paint off with some Wolfgang sealant, looks pretty good now

Yesterday was my 3rd autox event in the S2000, and it was my best event so far! It was a beautiful day and the track they set up was very fast.

I ended up taking 2nd place in STR yesterday behind a SCCA instructor who's been doing this for years! I'm proud of myself and now I have 2 "trophies" lol

Here is a link to my fastest run yesterday. The confidence I feel behind the wheel of this car has increased exponentially over the last couple of months. I really enjoy the experience these events give me as it definitely makes me a better driver. The thrill these events give me behind the wheel is a feeling I'm addicted to now, and I can't picture myself not autox'ing any of my cars.

Car looks great, man. And of course, you picked the fastest color After a nice detail and buffing the red really pops out and shines.

Thank you! and I sure did. This is my 2nd S2000 and my first one was also NFR. I could never own this car in a different color! I really need to get out and do a legit photoshoot with this car...

I almost forgot about this picture! My awesome photo-taking friend came to chill at the autox yesterday and snapped a pic of both of my cars

My gf drove the Si out there so we all were hanging out having a great time.

Congrats on the placings, as said before loved your previous NFR and hope to see some more exterior changes to this one along with constant autocrossing.

Did you solve the understeer? If so, was it set up or driver mods required?

Not in any way qualified to comment on a resolution, but are you running a square set up, or have you looked at alignment settings? Obvious answers I guess but thought I would suggest. My old SSM was track 'built' (roadgoing though) by the previous owner, and when I tracked it there was no understeer at all. I guess everything in the set up has impact - anti roll bars, coilover set up (softness etc), braces has an impact, so hard to pin point.

Well since I put the coilovers on, I have not had the car aligned lol...so I'm sure that has something to do with it. I also need to go with a wider tire in the front. All that together should help me out a lot.

I finally painted the oem honda caps I bought for my RPF1's. They came out pretty good and I am definitely happy with them, it looks much cleaner with center caps! I also picked up a set of Project Kics R40 lugs

great progress so far, enjoy reading your thread...btw what did you use for the adhesive after you got the s2000 emblems off?

Hopefully these charts I found can help you somewhat with your alignment. If you are looking to be competitive in AutoX, you have to dial in your suspension setup pretty well.

See username. I've had my EM1 for almost a decade now, and probably going to keep it forever, Flamenco Black Pearl, just like yours. Mine is all built and boosted to hell but it's still a blast to drive.

That's a beautiful red S2000.

There's just something special about the S2000 man, I can't explain it. I just feel right at home. I am never getting rid of this one I promise you that! I used Goo Gone and a plastic scraper to get the stuff off.

Damn I bet a boosted EM1 is fun to drive...mine is pretty much all factory except for a few minor things.
