Jared- out of the 5 bolt holes that the OE third brake light uses to mount, ASM only utilizes 2 of the holes and they give you 2 screws. They also provide double sided tape but I didn't use any because the gap provided by the tape is unsightly IMO and close if not the same as the gap without the tape--prefer without the tape for 2 reasons:

1) the white tape makes the gap look very visible (Especially on a black car) and while there is still a small gap without the tape, its not bad and my eye isn't drawn to it as much as with the tape. I could buy some black double sided tape but...

2) I might only run this spoiler temporarily so I didn't want to have a hard time removing it nor did I want to mess up my freshly painted trunk.

I'm liking it so far, forgot to mention I have purchased a universal 3rd brake light off eBay and going to try to mount it to the inside of the hardtop so it's visible out the rear window. Should have this completed later this week if it works out...

Can't wait to see the 3rd brake light attempt. Just double sided tape? I can't imagine you would drill through the top....

Loving that duckbill! Really good choice to skip the double sided tape, I woulda done the same... Maybe throw a very light coat of grease to minimize the scratching on the trunk from the wing flexing? I'd hate to see your clear coat get scratched >_< Love your parts selection, so clean and low-key!

hey Chris, I figure thats an authentic rear ASM bumper? I have a question, what was you rear set up like before you ran the bumper? roll and tab relocated? Im just wondering how much Id have to hack up that bumper once i got it since my rear tab is relocated and my oem bumper is trimmed quite alot to fit 17x10 +45 ces. thanks

Thank you sir! i was thinking of adding some type of very thin felt or fabric, but we'll see what i can find.

yes it's an authentic bumper, before this one, i just ran my OEM ap2 bumper which was shaved and tab relocated. You will basically have to trim the ASM bumper the same amount as you would the OEM bumper. I think the ASM bumper has the same dimensions as the OEM ap2 bumper (slightly larger than the Ap1 rear bumper). At the time i was running 17x9 +35 w/ 245 tires and i just trimmed my ASM bumper to the max since i was getting it painted after the trim (didn't want to get it painted then have to trim more).
