man do i love seeing a clean engine bay, looks like the previous owner took care of it. getting harder and harder to find ap1's in good condition! any plans for this one?

Nice pick up on the AP1, it is very hard to find them in good shape, unmolested, with decent mileage. I can only imagine what this is going to turn into with your hands on it, congrats again. O yea when are you gonna show us your recent pick up, I know it's got to be painted by now, can't keep us in the dark forever .

i am very happy. actually stayed within my 11k budget too!
haha i'm sure i will mod my01 eventually. will take a few year but we'll see. perhaps itb time

Stock S2k and modded S2k is the way of the master. Always have a benchmark to go back to and see if you are making the modded car better or worse. That's why I spent so much time driving mine in stock form. I hope to do the same though and pick up a second car in the future.

Hmm. So clear bra would preserve the dry carbon weave whereas clear coat could possibly cover it...
