Wny is Fisichella struggling in the Ferrari?
Thoughts? I personally thought he would challenge Kimi after a few races, but the gap still seems quite large. Is Kimi that much faster or Fisichella just struggling with the car/setup?

All new car that is much different from what he's driven.
He was only about 0.3 off Kimi's pace in P2. That sounds about right to me. Fisi certainly isn't a Kimi caliber driver as far as outright speed goes.

He mentioned that the Ferrari had to many buttons on the steering wheel compared to the Force India.
I think its to early to tell, different car, different setup, different team, different mechanics, engineers etc.

maybe they can put a mercedes motor in it so he can get some speed...
but seriously, trying to get in sync with those cars has got to be brutal.
and anyone who has ever been timed on the track, knows a few tenths is nothing.

Fisi just needs time is all. Unfortunately that is the only thing he is short off as the schedule is tightly packed and the FIA has limited testing.

I don't buy it...Fisichella is just an overrated driver. Put some of the other F1 guys in that seat and I'm sure they'll be qualifying in q2 and q3.
Fisi is no lewis, no kimi, no vettel, no alonso.
and the only promising person this year in gp2 was nico hulkenberg. Vitaly petrov just finished is 3rd year in gp2? about time he understood the car.

let's see there are 20 F1 drivers out of six billion people.
out of that select group it is remarkable that some are head and shoulders above the others.
But then there was micheal jordan and tiger woods and others that just transcend what others around them can do.
