Hmm......speculation was rife about Toyota leaving. This is the first time ever I'm hearing this about Renault.
So if Renault leaves, what engine will Renault team (if they are around) and Red Bull use? Mercedes or Cosworth??

i think so as they and toyota have been talking about this longer than bimmer.. i just hope the FIA can see this and actually do something to help otherwise, F1 may go the root of smaller teams once again ?

Reanault originally only signed the f1 concorde agreementup until 2009, dont know how long they are going to last in the current climate as Carlos ghosn dosnt like spending money on things that dont show a profit.
Bye bye.

It doesn't make a difference. F1 was around without manufacturers and will continue to go on.
If you are going to talk Formula One and you do not point out that it has had one manufacturer since the very beginning, they you either don't know the history, or you are a hater.
Do you need me to paint this all red for you to figure it out?

It's not so simple. McClaren has manufactured a road car. Does that make them a manufacturer? Ferrari does more road cars, more often. Porsche does more yet. Ford or Toyota does even more.
And what about Lotus, which started as a race team but now exists mainly to sell sports cars? Or Panoz? Or Spyker?
It's not so easy to say "manufacturer" and "race team" are separate catagories.

Ferrari was not a manufacturer. They raced first and sold cars after.

renault is gone. alonso is driving to prove he deserves a ferrari. bmw should just supply engines. toyota, which i keep thinking is finished hangs on for pride. so can they just get their one win and be gone. toyota as an engine supplier is how i hope they remain.
