I can't even begin to imagine where they think they will come up with sponsorship money given today's economy.
even if they run as an economy $50-100 million budget.

Are you saying I should lower my 2% expectation rate?

I'm like you, I'll believe it when I see it.
However, Peter Winsor was on wind tunnel this past Sunday & he stated as fact "The funding & team personel are in place"

Kyle Busch.
Speed was never given a chance simply because he is American. Lets face it....the euros and the world hate us. Add Kyle Busch straight from NASCAR....it would would be awesome! It would be desecrating the whole elitist F1 scene.

Use Danica to drum up interest and then when they test her and the guys are whooping her ass around the track in the test....have her pose H.I.N. style straddling the car's nose cone in a bikini so all the 14-30 year old crowd can gain interest. At the very worst they can get Trojan or Durex as a sponsor.

They need to do a talent search like red bull did!
Andretti is just a terrible driver and makes poor racing decisions. Rahal is decent but he isnt anything special. Kyle Bush might be able to turn a car left but i dont think hes suited for f1, but i wouldn't mind seeing him given the chance.
I hope they don't put Danica in an f1 car ever, the last thing we need is an F1 pit crew taken out by her stupidity. Barrichello could be a good thing with his experience but he is not longer competitive, they should be looking at the current test drivers. Davidson would be a good choice as he seems to be good with car setup to get them headed in the right direction, i dont think he was ever given a great car to show his talent in. Im guessing after this year driver line ups will change so we may see decent talent out of a job and able to sign with the US Team.

I don't know of any american drivers that have the skill sets necessary to drive an F1 car well right out of the box. That's not to say that none of them could gain the skill set.

I can't see a driver like Kyle busch leaving his current situation for a low-budet new team that will most likely be a back marker.
I agree with one of the previous poster, I hope its not Danica. Danica has to be the single most over-rated driver in motorsports history.
Side note: Wasnt Kyle Busch supposed to do a Toyota F1 test during the off-season? Did he ever do that?
