Speed TV continues Blackout
I'm in the Greater Toronto Area using Bell Express Vu.
I miss having Speed TV broadcast F1 races live.
Does anyone know if SpeedTV is going to show another live F1 race or live qualifying ?
We do get the BBC's coverage "shortened" coverage on TSN, and I find the new guy on BBC and absolute bore. I wonder what James Allen must be thinking these days..

I have Time Warner Cable here in Texas, and I have watched all of Races live (practices+quali+Race) with no problems on SPEEDTV.
If your paying for SPEED then you should be watching F1 on Speed!

I actually like the ITV feed....BUT....
You need to watch the TSN feed LIVE. If you watch the repeat later on in the day, the race is edited and butchered to fit into alotted time, its an embarrasement.
I do miss SPEED's Peter Windsor pre-race show on the grid.
I was in Germany last year and watched a broadcast on a german station. Now THAT is coverage. The pre-race show was about 2 hrs, and post race even longer, full of analysis, interviews and commentary. I wish we had that here

When Fox airs the race in the states they also black out the Speed coverage.

No, that's a different matter. Fox owns Speed. It's not the two networks have conflicting rights.

ITV does not carry F1 any longer. It is now BBC ....... again. I think they do a better job than Speed since their announcers are actually at the track unlike the Speed announcers with the exception of Peter Windsor. I really like his Grid interviews but beyond that, the BBC guys have Speed beat.
