I know it's only one race but I think it's safe to say the double wide restart rule is a big mistake.

I don't know. Remains to be seen but I tend to agree with Robin Miller on this one. Some of the drivers are against it but some also blamed it on stupidity.

MILLER: There’s No Cure For Stupid

Scott Dixon didn’t have a problem with the new rules, but rather with a competitor or two. “It wasn’t a matter of starting too slow or being too close; it was one or two people driving like idiots,” said the two-time champion whose race was ruined shortly after it began.

Ryan Briscoe blamed the dirt and dust for a major lack of visibility while Oriol Servia pointed to the slippery surface off line of the airport circuit.

But winner Dario Franchitti may have had the best take: “Is the problem the double file restart? Is it the late acceleration? Or is it people not paying attention or not respecting each other? We have to work out what was the problem and fix it.”

Long Beach GP this coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I've been to all 36 Long Beach GPs. We're in Grandstand 29 (top row) on Shoreline, just past the Toyota Bridge, across from the pits, close to the start-finish line. We have Marina parking in back of our seats and do the Committee of 300 Paddock Club between events. Woo woo!!!

Andretti Motorsport needed this one at Long Beach. Nice run Conway!

Danica salvaged a decent finish but man it's gotta cross your mind...they should have sent Marco packing and kept TK. Just sayin'.

Dario a 3rd and remaining the pain in Will Power and Roger Penske's ass. heh-heh. You go boy.

What happened? I know they said yesterday that the race was postponed til today at 1pm so I tuned to Versus at 1 and it's some damn fly fishing show. So I go to indycar.com and they mentioned the winner from the postponed race. So when the hell did they run the after Sunday and was it even on Versus?
