Default Monaco GP *SPOILERS*

McLaren 1-2 to end a dominant weekend. FA leads LH, with the two silver cars far, far ahead of FM's Ferrari and lapping everyone else. Kimi didn't achieve much points wise, coming from 15th (accident in qualifying) to finish 8th.

RB finishes 9th, JB 10th, AD 17th, TS 21st. JB having a hard time outpacing his oldtimer teammate at Honda this season.

Pretty dull race. Hardly any drop outs either. I was hoping for a more explosive start, instead just got what seemed as a second installation lap. Lame, lame, lame.

The slide that LH did was kinda cool! I was surprised that JB held off KR for a while although another disappointing race for BAR!

I liked the comment LH made post race interview when asked if he hit the barrier.

On another note, the next 4 races will be aired on FOX. Does this mean I'll be able to watch it on HD? I wonder if FOX will get HD feed.

The races are not shot with HD equipment so unfortunately, no HD. However, they are shot in 16x9 format (i think), so we might get it that way?

The race was not as exciting as I had hoped. Quali almost had more "moments." Did you think Coulthard did wrong? I'm thinking he should have known the car behind was NOT on an out-lap because it caught up to him so easily. The circumstance was softened though because they said he did ask the team (were they just covering for him?).

Hamiliton was fun to watch since he seems to like sliding the car around. You could see he had the pace to take Alonso, or take himself out (!), but decided to back off for an easy 1-2 finish. I suppose it was the right thing to do because he didn't earn the pole and Alonso did.

Nico Rosberg, what a disappointment!

It was pretty boring because Ham didn't get to challenge Alonso. I don't blame them because they don't want to take each other out. They were almost a minute ahead of 3rd place Massa so it wasn't really fun to watch. There weren't any other fights either.

I thought it interesting to hear that MS has an open invite to drive the car anytime he wants. The thought being KR may npt be able to develop the car for what should be constant advancement forward. FM seems to be developing into a very good driver, but he has never been the one the team was goig to look up to for development. I would think if Ferrari asks for MS's help, that ought to out KR's nose out of joint...

Clearly, this was a McLaren weekend, Ferrari was way off the pace, and Kimi did nothing to help himself or the team out, that's for sure.

I guess for FA's sake it's a good thing he won, otherwise the 2X World Champion would be walking around in the shadow of the rookie - LH.
