"what a dabacle." is the correct description. as posted in the indy car thread, group lotus is simultaneously moving forward into that series. they don't have the funding to do all of this. this will spell trouble for some malaysian politicians explaining this to their voters.

Well I guess this will give us something to talk about until the unveiling of next seasons contenders and winter testing. So is this a transition for group lotus to you renault technology instead of toyota tech? I also thought dany bahar said that they were going to work with cosworth in the near future? Such a big mess on the F1 side and road car side.

Uh, what a big mess. So if I'm understanding this correctly, we could have two teams named - Lotus F1 and Lotus Renault next year? That's absurd.

"Team Lotus have abandoned plans to race in the same colours as rivals Lotus-backed Renault in 2011 in the latest twist in the dispute between the two."

So is Team Lotus going to still with BRG and yellow? Does this also mean that Renault doesn't need the possible Russian money, meaning that vitaly could be out of a seat?

HAahaha that was a funny little article. Did not know that petrov didn't move to the UK. This is sounding similar to what scott speed did during his first year in F1. Petrov does have some potential to block alonso when he isn't crashing. If renault were to drop petrov, who do you guys think they will replace him with?
