Espionage? It's not like they are special.
All the cars are built equally and to the same specifications. It's not like anything was gained unlike F1 where every car is engineered differently.
Most of Nascar is highly controlled (like F1 is now becoming) and the builders have very little control or say in how the car is built.
I think if anything, Nascar should be claiming espionage on the FIA for stealing their regulation books.

OH MY GOD THEY STOLE "THE" SWAY BAR. ROUSH SPENT HALF A MILLION PENNIES TO DEVELOP THAT AND THE TIME SPENT IN RESEARCH, PLEASE DON'T EVEN MENTION IT.
