Default Lewis Hamilton drives the Ring.

it would've been nice if they showed him in the amg but i'm pretty sure that will pop up.

Q: Finally, how did you enjoy your drive around the old 14-mile Nordschleife earlier in the weekend?
LH: I just love driving the Nordschleife. I drove round it on Thursday morning in an AMG Mercedes-Benz - firstly with Bernd Schneider showing me the way and then in separate cars. It's such an amazing track - it is the most challenging car circuit in the world. Formula One would be great at the Nordschleife, only problem is the fans would probably only see you go round a handful of times as it takes over 10-15 mins to drive a lap! Some of my engineers ran a lap around the track on Saturday evening after qualifying, it took them about two hours!

Whats Lewis smoking? the GTR and Zr1 do it in mid 7min a lap.

Wonder what an F1 car could do? low 6's?

i thought that was weird but i have a feeling it took him 10-15 minutes because he wasn't pushing the 1934 merc very hard. he would be safer driving a go-kart around the ring that this thing.

I don't remember which team it was (BMW I think) but they said an F1 car going all out should be able to do it in the 5 minute range.

I wonder why he even bothers with a helmet at those speeds

I think the Full Ring would destroy the car before it made it to across the finish if they decided to go flat out!
