JB and BOOBS, Is he right?
NOT cause my british boy is my teams future, But because its TRUE... I agree 100% with him. Maybe he shouldnt be so blunt about it.. but be honest.. do you agree with him???
Look at the comment by the woman... sounds like the average moron... he does not win cause he stares at Tits????.. She needs to grow up, he doesnt win cause the Car isnt good enough. Once Honda F1 starts to Challenge and Win, Ill still bet he stares at Tits, but then what will that Ditz's remark be?? Without tits you wouldnt win???
Jenson Button does not think women will ever trouble him in Spa's Eau Rouge or Suzuka's 130R. The 25-year-old (BAR-)Honda driver told a men's magazine - 'FHM' - that ladies' biology could make their success in grands prix impossible, even if girl-racers like Danica Patrick and Katherine Legge are proving pretty handy in lower formulae.
"But in F1 cars," JB explained, "I can't see it happening due to the g-force in fast corners. And one week of the month you wouldn't want to be on the circuit with them, would you? A girl with big boobs would never be comfortable in the car. And the mechanics wouldn't concentrate. Can you imagine strapping her in?"
Britain's 'Sun' newspaper, though, quoted its female 'motoring correspondent' as slamming the BAR driver's sexism.
"Oh grow up," said Emma Parker. "If he spent less time staring at grid girls' breasts he might win more races."

Yeah, just like Mark Webber can never do well in F1 because he's over 6ft tall and would obviously be uncomfortable in the car. Oh, he only got one point less than JB.
And it's so obvious that all men are completely uncontrolled animals who can't think of anything but sex when a woman is around. I mean, just look at what happens with professional women in business these days. Obviously any company that employs women does poorly because the men working there don't do anything but stare at breasts all day.
Finally, it's quite clear that women turn into raving lunatics (get it? Luna?) once a month - that must be why they don't drive themselves to work during that time, eh? It's much more of an issue than, say, choosing to "play tennis" which results in a broken elbow.
(JB has never impressed me as a person. Nor as a driver, although it's difficult to say how much of that is him and how much the car. I'm so glad that RB is joining Honda. TS seems like a nice guy but his driving skills aren't up to par.)

Jensen Button is an idiot.
I hope Jenson Button is alive the first time a woman wins an F1 race. It's going to happen eventually.
I would like to see Jenson's data showing that females are less able to handle g-load than males. Sure you have to be in shape to drive a F1 car. But is that level of fitness beyond the reach of a woman just because she's a woman? No. I am sure there are female athletes in the world is as good or even better shape than Jenson Button.
As far as being 'uncomfortable' in the car. That's about the silliest thing I had ever heard. There are these things called sports bras. I am sure that any woman with sufficient talent to drive an F1 car will also have sufficient talent to come up with some kind of apparel solution so that her 'big boobs' are not a problem.
And the mechanics being distracted. Jenson, this is not 1950 anymore. If your mechanics aren't professional enough to be able to do their job in the presence of a woman, and a professional woman at that, they have no place on a race team, or working at McDonald's for that matter.
I think Jenson is showing us all that he lives in a little F1 world and has no clue that the rest of the world has mostly accepted women as equals.

His attitude is fine for a caveman, but for a man living in 2005 his narrow mindedness is just absurd... I am being honest by the way because I happen to have more respect for women.

If "she" (future female F1 star) were truly dedicated she would have a breast reduction to save weight in the car. For those of you that think that is absurd ask Jenson he's already had his nuts cut off

I suspect JB is appealing to FHM's readers, and FHM is interested in selling magazines to get more advertising revenue.
As to what he said. . . . well, if a person can run, he/she should run. Nuff' said.

Very interesting...
Mansell tells Jenson to Button it
By Jonathan Noble
October 29th 2005, 09:10 GMT
Former World Champion Nigel Mansell has angrily told Jenson Button to think before he opens his mouth in the future, following the controversial comments the BAR driver made about women drivers this week. Button created a media frenzy when he claimed that women would not be successful in Formula One because of their biological make-up.
In an interview with FHM magazine, Button said that although females like Danica Patrick and Katherine Legge had been successful in other formulae, they would never make a success in F1. "I can't see it happening due to the g-force in fast corners," he said. "And one week of the month you wouldn't want to be on the circuit with them, would you? A girl with big boobs would never be comfortable in the car. And the mechanics wouldn't concentrate. Can you imagine strapping her in?"
Although those remarks created a tirade from female drivers, they have also left Mansell far from impressed. "When you look at Jenson, having just done his 100th Grand Prix, I think he gets away with murder at times," said Mansell. "I don't thank him for the press chasing me around for his stupid remarks about women drivers. "I think he scored another home goal there. If you can't say the right things, say nothing."

I'd love to see Jenson fly second seat with a military fighter pilot -- one who happens to be female. I bet it would be her personal mission to show him just what G-forces really can be....
