Wish they would've converted Belle Isle to a proper track (like Montreal) instead of streets in downtown.

Penske and GM want to showcase downtown Detroit, particularly the GM Building, the biggest, tallest thing around.

You can see the Renaissance center building perfectly fine from Belle Isle, that's a crap excuse, much like the roads in downtown Detroit.

Yep, which is why I think converting Belle Isle to a dedicated track is doable, there's nothing else on the island anymore. GM and Penske could easily cover the cost. They call it RenCen now, same same. Lol.
