How Fast are F1 cars?
I have no knowledge on F1 racing cars. How fast are they? What are thier revs and engine specs? Whats the Top speed and 1/4 mile? how good is the handling? Could an F1 car take out GT500 cars?

3.0 L V10 revs to 19000 but for 06 2.4L V8 estimated revs 21000+
handling?? up to 5 G's..
put it this way.. an F1 car will Lap a road car every 3 laps..

900 to 1000 horsepower. Weight of 1320 lbs.
Imagine going full-throttle in a motorcycle... Now imagine that acceleration in a four-wheeled vehicle, such as an S2000 powered, 1200lbs WCM Ultralite. Now imagine taking that and quadrupling the horsepower. Oh, and adding enough aerodynamic downforce to take corners at 5g's. Imagine not being able to go for more than a few laps because your neck muscles cannot hold your head up.
That's how fast an F1 car is. For circuit racing, nothing comes close.
(One of those quarter-mile calculators you can find online estimates an ET of about seven seconds at over 200mph. In reality that probably wouldn't happen due to traction and aero issues.)

Honda/BAR to answer that question at Bonneville salt flats. I think they were turned away by the rain last month but I read they were at an airstrip doing test runs. The info is on s2k site, not sure which one.

Yeah the Coulthard/McLaren one was pretty cool too. Here's yet another:
