World champion for a few fleeting seconds. He did nothing wrong in 2008 only Lewis was luckier in that Timo Glock was on the wrong tires.

He'll be missed for sure.

Now JB will probably head to Williams and finish out his career.

Yeah, I like Massa. I hope JB finds a ride, I'm not ready for him to leave yet.

They can call it whatever but I think this is farewell to Jenson Button. Too bad he didn't see a victory at silverstone in his career. I'm not sure how competitive he would be even if he came back after a years break. It is a long time and newer talent will come to the forefront. Too bad he isn't going out on a high.

Button will be missed. Some are saying McLaren is retaining him in case Alonso decides to leave the team after his contact is up in 2017 if the performance of the MacLaren-Honda car doesn't improve significantly.

It would be great to see Button get a ride for the LM24 next June, especially if it's a P1 car

Rumors abound about Ross Brawn taking a role with shaping the direction of the sport. Ross has said he has worked in a consultative capacity and no offer has been made.

I think though it will be a matter of time before they put him in charge. I'm sure some of it has to do with handling Bernie's departure as delicately as possible.

As much as we all love to loathe Bernie, I've talked to some people involved in F1 who think highly of him. So while credit is due to him for his role in the sport, I think its time we had technocrats like Ross Brawn step up and shape the direction of the sport.
