Some jokes are offensive, but still funny. This particular one is just offensive and has never been funny, no matter how many people have tried to tell it. And yet, bigoted assholes continue to try to spout it off, thinking it's funny or at least that they are scoring some sort of points against political correctness.

In fact, they are only confirming that they are bigoted assholes. (There was never any need for Bernie to confirm this in his case, however. That's been obvious for a really long time.)
