Default to attend an ALSM race or not

So, I was thinking of attending an ALMS race this year, maybe mosport or mid ohio.
Now, I'm looking at the possible entry list & I'm having second thoughts
P1 - No Audi, No Peugeot. 1 Acura & they may pull out.
P2 - No more Porsche. Whats left? 1 acura & 1 mazda
GT- 2 team corvettes racing each other (may not race ever event)

The only real racing left is in the gt2 class.

Doesn't matter.....walking the paddocks is worth the price of admission.

Start at the rear of the grid and walk to the front striking up conversations with random team members. I spent about 20 mins BSing with Tommy Millner at Lime Rock last season, the Intersport and Autocon guys are all approachable & friendly. The only thing you'll miss out on is frozen kitkats from the Audi guys.

You have to remember, Corvette is going to be going into the GT2 category so its going to be Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Aston Martin, Corvette, Ford GT. That would be worth the price of admission alone.

Audi has not ruled out other races beyond Le Mans. Their team boss said so during the Sebring race.

Wow, twice in a thread I'm agreeing with GPMike

Being able to walk through the paddock and talk to the team members, get close to the cars is well worth it, plus the racing is always interesting.

In fact my only gripe with ALMS is the standard 2hr 45min race is too short.

I'm sure we'll see Audi (and Peugeot) back in ALMS this year. I imagine they'll both go out for Petit and Laguna Seca.
