Back to Marco in F1. IMo he's not fast enough. His limited success in Star Mazda against Rahal, Matos, Hinchcliff (all racing in Atlantics now) was not a good sign. Not to bash the IRL too much, but flat out racing with no lifting of the throttle does not an F-1 driver make.

Ferrari have never been like Williams in that , they risk a rookie in their car
that is why I said it is too early...but Doug does have a point. Marco Andretti in a Ferrari would do wonders for F1 in the US....

Michael could never match the talent of his dad and he carried a lot of weight on his shoulders. At the same time in 1991 he was CART champ and runner up the following year. So there was high hopes in 1993 when he was signed with McLaren to partner with Ayrton Senna. How many driver

I agree. Mario, as much as any American, knows what it takes to run well at the top level of F1. I've heard him talk over and over about how much he loves open-wheeled racing, F1, etc. and I am sure Marco has the dream. It would be wonderful for the sport if Marco does get his chance WHEN he is ready. I think Mario just loves planting the seeds.

I just want to see the best racers in F1 and it happens to be Marco Andretti, great. Just don't want him in because of his name like Rossi, who hasn't done a thing in open wheel racing....

I'd like to see MS and KR at Ferrari, assuming KR doesn't go to Honda like my dream...
let him gain experience on road courses first.
i'm tiered of hearing "america's scott speed" their preaching to the faithful.
as far as your dream, that might be a nightmare for kimi.
marcosan, go easy, just joking.

During that 1993 season, Senna totally dominated Andretti. It was interesting to see that Hakkinen outqualified Senna in the first race he was brought in to replace Andretti.
