Back to Marco in F1. IMo he's not fast enough. His limited success in Star Mazda against Rahal, Matos, Hinchcliff (all racing in Atlantics now) was not a good sign. Not to bash the IRL too much, but flat out racing with no lifting of the throttle does not an F-1 driver make.
