This is the kind of thing that gets me so pumped about the kind of work i'm training for.
I was reading an article earlier this year about some officials questioning whether some of the amputee sprinters have an unfair advantage against the non-amputee runners Those guys are throwing up some impressive times. Marlon Shirly is only 1second off the world record for 100m dash
It's so rewarding to work with people who think their life is over and then 6-12 months down the road find out that they can do so much that they almost forget they are an amputee

Good for you. It would definitely be a field in which there would be real highs and sadly some real lows.

A true champion regardless of titles won or not won. A man who receives a great deal of respect from me - his internal motivation and determination is really just plain extraordinary. The fact that he was determined enough to come back to racing and be good at it is what gets to me.
