His cars have won 119 races, seven constructors' titles and six drivers' championships, but Newey admits that Senna's death still haunts him. Asked if he has seen the acclaimed documentary, Senna, the 52-year-old said: "No. It would not be an easy thing to do."

Any good engineer agonizes over the decision making.
This is especially true when you have someones life in your hands.
You're pushing the limits, trying to find that fine edge between ultimate performance and failure.
In F1 the results are just more visible and occasionally traumatic.
But the data isn't always exact and you have to make guesstimates.
I'm glad I don't carry his burden, was it my fault? what really happened?

Really interesting read, but what a burden to carry with you in your career.
