Clearly you are right, he will have a huge impact upon the 2007 car, but I would really have to argue with you if you insisted he would have 0 influence on the 2006 car. Many teams continue to tweak their packages all year long. Adrian is a master designer and clearly his skill sets will incluence the 2006 car betweeen March and November.

It seems to me that McLaren is in deep doo doo. Problems with the V8, loss of Newey...what do they have going for them? Kimi's raw talent that could still bail at any time?
I'm sorry but that 's not enough for me.
I say its gonna be between Ferrari and Renault in '06 and I'm sticking with Renault (I've bought too much Renault "stuff" to bail now).
As much as I'd love to say its gonna be Honda, they just don't have a driver that'll bring home the bacon and their aeropackage design capabilities are yet to be proven.
We'll see.
