Hi All, I am after an 00 to 03 stock head unit with in dash CD player and a CD changer plug in back. Must have code, anyone out there upgraded and got one laying around???

Aus 00s at least didn't have an indash CD. They were cassette players.

The US got the indash CD player but no CD changer standard.

Oh Well, i am after only the HU not the stacker as my HU has been upgraded at some stage and i am trying to run a Neo Ion through it and the plugs are different.
So, i feel it is easier to change the HU over than Frig around trying to get cables from the US.

But what head unit? If you get an AU head unit it won't have a CD player (unless they've changed). So you would have to get a head unit from the US anyway. Then AM won't work (if you care about AM).

Does the Ion come compatible with different head units or just the one you specify?

Have you ordered it? Do you have it?

Hey Aus, i just need a 00-03 HU even if it is only tape.
yes i already have the Neo Ion, but the adapter to the HU is the wrong plug as my current HU is apparently not stock, i have sent images of the plug to neo in LA and they have not been getting back to me, they believe my HU has been upgraded to an 04+ which is a different plug and costs another $30 us more. below are pics of my current HU, the Neo Ion and the two different plugs, the blue plug is the Neo and the white plug is from my stacker, i pushed real hard but it just wouldn't fit.

When pics are up I'll have a look and compare to mine. I have an 00 HU sitting on the shelf. I'll swap with you if you like and it helps. Mine's just sitting ther in case I ever take it back to stock.
