Default XTREME Clutch

With the support of fireball and I during the R&D stage,
Xtreme clutch in Adelaide now has an aftermarket replacement/upgrade for the s2k
There are 2 kits; standard and heavy duty

Check out their new website (I think there are still some glitches atm)
http://www.xclutch.com.au/xtreme/default.htm
(turn on your speakers......ppppppssssshhhhew and the flash intro is quite good too)

Here is the specific info for the s2k clutch
...hmmmm he has not upload it yet. It looks good when I was there on Friday. I hope it will be up next week.

#69 call Brenton and check here for a distributor in NSW
http://www.xclutch.com.au/xtreme/dealers.htm
If anyone is keen on a GB let me know and I will see what Brenton can do.

sorry itr
some how s2ki did not inform me about your post earlier.

I can't tell you how good these are.
Fireball had the first two prototypes and I have a reworked exedy from them (uninstalled atm). So check with fireball.

I actually drove his car for a week after the 2nd prototype. It's pretty good, grippy and drivable on the street. I never give that car a hard time and did not go past 6500 rpm, so I don't think I can give any reliable feedback though. PM him itr

well yes back on the road part 2 !

since this is a clutch thread.. i have the xtreme clutch running on a light flywheel with a stock pressure plate... if u do a search i have posted the pictures of it somewhere

ah here !
http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=165638

well after 3000kms since engine re-fix... it slightly jerky to take off if u let the clutch out slow with the typical jutter from a heavy duty clutch .. but if u just drop the clutch its smooth.. with the lightened flywheel it revs slightly quicker than normal and revs drop faster..
the car has been goin fine except some dickweed decided to key the door last wk .. must be cos i have sa plates and now that i am in qld.. will post pics later..

car goes fine all the way to 9000rpm

how this helps u guys about the clutch

Just a few more foods for thought

This is my personal objections of the xtreme Vs the exedy clutch

The extreme clutch is more ridable than the original exedy hypersingle.
The pedal pressure on the xtreme is a lot better (lighter) than the exedy.

Would you agree with these fireball?

I hope that is of some assisstance for someone
