I've just got off the phone from Doug Willersdorf who is involved with the Ferrari Club Australia.
He said that Winton had a double booking for Saturday 28th June. As a result of this the Ferrari club will be running with the Maserati club on Sunday 29th June.
So it looks as if Sunday is the only choice for sprints.
I don't know who managed to snag Sat 28th. I couldn't find out from the Winton website, it could be another car club, it could be anything

Rain areas with locally heavy falls possible near the ranges, gradually easing
during the day. A cool to cold and mostly cloudy day with light to moderate

Hi David
4 Ferrari 360 GT Challenge (LHD, plastic windows, stripped interior), 2 Ferrari 550's, various 355's, 328's and 246's.
2 600bhp Mustangs (with Hollinger gearboxes). Nissan R32 GTR, R33 GTS, WRX, Sti, Escorts, Datsun 1600's. A new BMW M3, TVR Griffith, Datsun 260Z, 1 Honda CRX (1991ish), 3 Honda S2K's and a BA XR8 tow car that was out on the track for 3/4 off a lap before he went off and got bogged at the esses.
Wet and drizzly at the start, dried out through out the day. Seemed to sprinkle whenever Dan Price came out on worn tyres. Is someone trying to tell you something Dan?
Probably about 6 sessions in all (including 2 passenger sessions) right through to 4:30. Minimal delays for computer/timing delays and 2 recoverys.
I havent got times or photos but I'll post a link when times go up on the Maserati site.

I was very impressed with the Maserati Club. They did a geat job of organising the event. Very well run on the day and the officials were all friendly and helpful. The flag marshalls were absolute top quality!
I'd have no hesitation at all about going to another Maserati Club event. One thing that they did better than other clubs was the spacing of cars on the track. The groups were made up of cars with similar/close times and they were let out onto the track one at a time (with a decent interval). This minimized overtaking and meant that each competitor got a fair go with a number of CLEAR laps. IE nobody passing you and no need to pass anybody else.
All in all, a top day. My only gripe was the weather. Somehow I managed to time my sessions to coincide with the passing drizzle showers.
