a) Not a chance. Would have kept the Rex or maybe a late model rX7 etc.

Occupation: Banking/Funds Management (ie NOT IT!!).
Other Cars Considered: BMW 323Ci, HSV ClubSport R8, Nissan 200SX, Subaru WRX (ugly MY01 shape prevented that one).
Why I chose the S: Wanted something with a bit more class than my old 98 WRX but still something that had a bit of get up and go about it... The fact that it was a convertible was a big plus for me.
Delivery date: 23 June 2001 (ie almost 2 years ago).
Number of KMs now: Approx 19,600kms

Hi--just saw this thread--new S2k owner (three weeks). I have wanted one since I saw my friend's 2 years ago--best looking, most fun car I've ever owned. I test drove the Nissan 350Z just before I bought my S--too bulky, not nearly as fun, and no convertible...Wouldn't want a BMW because of the image here in the States (family car for affluent upwardly-mobile...), the Z3 isn't as fast, and I couldn't afford a Z4...
