Theres one up here in QLD who's a painter IIRC. Number plates are "Tradie"..... I've seen him with a ladder out the passenger seat LOL.

You doubting Hanny's is overcharging you? Seriously ...
Are you saying Hanny's overcharge? Or just poor english?

As far as I know Hanny's is pretty reasonable. I guess it depends how much the diff cost them (a [re]conditioned diff would be more expensive than a second hand one) and I'm assuming there is some sort of warranty on it.

You're just asking for it. The one who has a comprehension problem is you. Read carefully what the OP was intending to ask. He was ultimately concerned if he was getting ripped off.

Don't give me this grammar policing shit. I don't adhere to your rules.

Is this from what you read/hear online or do you actually do business with them?

Are you quoting Hanny's prices or armchair textbook references? Do you even know how much the gears, cogs and seals itself is worth from Honda? FFS, if you want to give an estimation, provide a reference. Not just what you think it's worth based on the weather outside.

Blah, blah and more blah. Until you can supply and provide at that number, save your high horse talk for the ignorant newbies.

You're just asking for it.
No, I just asking for your opinion on whether Hanny's overcharge or not.

The one who has a comprehension problem is you.
Really? I'm usually quite astute.

Read carefully what the OP was intending to ask. He was ultimately concerned if he was getting ripped off.
Yes, I'm aware of that.

Don't give me this grammar policing shit. I don't adhere to your rules.
They are not my rules. They are the rules of grammar and if you are of or above average intelligence they aren't hard to follow. But I've seen your past posts and wasn't sure if you qualified.

Is this from what you read/hear online or do you actually do business with them?
It's from what I hear online. I pretty much do my own work so have little use for mechanics. So when I hear a remark to the contrary naturally I question it. It just seems that some viewers are a tad insecure and take any question as a personal attack. You might want to see a therapist.

Are you quoting Hanny's prices or armchair textbook references?
Nope that is from my research, which was mostly conducted from my office chair. Oh, and also by the roadside when I thought my diff had blown and was speaking to Chris Barry.

Do you even know how much the gears, cogs and seals itself is worth from Honda?
From Honda? No. But then only an idiot would buy them from Honda. Do you have an account?

I would buy them from Mazda or Kia, and the last time I checked with Kia they were (drum roll please) approximately $600.

FFS, if you want to give an estimation, provide a reference. Not just what you think it's worth based on the weather outside.
It's raining.

Blah, blah and more blah. Until you can supply and provide at that number, save your high horse talk for the ignorant newbies.
I don't even have a horse.

Now, a little advice for you. The last time I remember you commenting was in the MyYellowHonda/Lotus Elise thread, where you did your utmost to put everybody offside. You add very little to this community but angst and fly off the handle like an axe head at the slightest provocation. I suggest if you want to stick around here you might try growing up and keeping you asinine posts to yourself. Or you'll end up just like ECS, never to be seen again.

BTW, I still don't know whether or not you think Hanny's overcharge. A simple 'Yes' or 'No' should be within your levels of literacy.

You weren't looking for an opinion, you were doing your usual high horse, I'm talking to you down there as usual.

Keyword there is usually.

Your approach to starting a pointless banter is always about grammar, punctuation or spelling. As far as I can see, that's your fetish. Not everybody else. You failed to get an accredited teaching career? Is that why?

Enough said.

Now, I don't need to give you a lesson in economics do I? Supply and demand. If you're going to compare DIY backyard blitz mechanical work vs. professional work. It's a moot point.

I believe you started the ball rolling.

What are you smoking? By your interpretation, aren't you one of the first idiots who bought a brand new S2000 and always like to brag about how great it is to be a first generation owner?

Save your advice for someone who cares.

Don't ban me because I don't comply with your ideals, this isn't your little regime sandbox sub forum. You started getting personal and you now want to end it by using your moderator privileges? I didn't know you go so low to win each and every argument.

I stand by what I have said to Easton. My comments were directed at him. Own a Lotus, join the Lotus forum. The viewpoint of being a showoff is not a unique perception. Tough that you and the others felt affected and compelled to protect him.
