What road are you guys driving down there in Wollongong? I'm trying to find it on the map.

i think its called farnell road

it goess off acacia avenue i think. and goes all the way to stanwell gardens. and continues on to the grand pacific drive

there should be a huge green area on the map towards south of Sydney called Royal National Park, thru there, chicken will let u know more about it

yeah its just one straight road.

farnell avenue

its got a massive sign that says "royal national park" anyways

and once you're on that road just keep following it

theres going to be a booth at the entrance of the national park. tell the ranger in the booth you're driving thru and there won't be any charge

head thru the park. and when u see the booth at the exit, there's going to be a parking area around 500m after it thats well worth the trip

all up its around 60km each way

perhaps you can catch up with him and follow him thru the road

Does the park have hours? Do they close the road after 5:00 or whatever?

I might try to do this one evening.

its open 24/7

a bit scary to do it at night for the first time

and you miss out on some great views

i'll try to find some pictures of the view at the end of the road
