Default Unusual Xmas Presents?

A little Off Topic, but....

This is what I gave my daughter - his name is Ferdy. He's cute and cuddly - any idea what he is?

What sort of interesting presents did you give or receive?

Here's another of him playing with the Xmas tree with our Siamese in rapt attention in the background.

Ferdy the Ferret - how cute is that!
Hope it's good with people. The only ones I've been close to were lab animals. If they get the bite on ya, the little beggars don't let go.

Yep, he's a ferret alright. If you treat them properly (unlike in a lab) they shouldn't bite. Ferdy is only around 8 weeks old but we have already trained him not to bite. He still nips occasionally whilst playing (especially with your toes) but doesn't bite hard any more.

My 11 year old daughter, Natalia, is busy reading the Redwall series of books featuring lots of weasels and otters so she has a real fixation on them at the moment - I had my doubts at first, but they are a surprisingly fun pet.

Yes, you're no doubt referring to the famous "Queensland Policeman Incident"
