Thanks Guys for your suggestions, I think I'll start pricing some of these tyres. Not sure which way I go, but the $$$$ factor will more than likely decided for me

My brother had a set of these on his car (Volvo 850, so no similarities to a S2000's handling characteristics), and they are a good tyre, you could do much worse, however they're not as good as the other PZeros (Rosso, Corsa which are the more agressive of the 3, and more exxy from memory) nor Pilot Sports or S-02s (All i can compare against on that car). I find they're generally not as blatantly sporty as the others, and as such grip wasn't as high, however they lasted the longest of any tyres on the car. However on one of the last few Motor tests they blitzed (relatively) the field in wet and dry braking.
Sorry about not being able to describe them better. Apart from that i guess have a look for opinions on Tirerack and in the Susp & Handling forum.

p zeros on an RS4 are the worst tyres in the world
it could a number of things such as the quattro system or the width of the tyres which are all the same on all four corners.
the major problem with the p zero on the RS4 is the ridiculous amount of tramlining that occurs. any slight deviation in the road causes the car to shift to one side and the steering wheel jerks out of your hand quite violently and this isnt a problem on just Australian roads, its occurred on European roads as well.
P zeros were good in the day, but now they are an antiquated dinosaur in the tyre market.
however, my brother has them on his mustang cobra and they grip wonderfully and he doesnt suffer from tramlining at all, he has however got 295 on the rear and or 245 at the front.

yeah, the tramlining has already been discussed on the audi forums and the conclusion has been that its the oem pirelli p zero tyres.
the owners who have switched to other tyres have immediately found that they can now steer using one hand on the steering wheel with confidence.

can't go pass the Falken Azenis ST115 for $$$ value. Good for both noise and grip (abit of warming up required); should not be more than $400 each... worth considering... ohh... and good mileage too ... (i managed 20000 k's + 2 track days on my rear and still going on my fronts)

That is quite impressive for a semislick
Falken Azenis ST115 is not a semi-slick. It's a middle of the road tyre ... they are fitted on my sister's Astina (and with around 40,000km now). Though, it is a very good tyre for the price.
What you're thinking of is an Azenis RS as hat looks like a semi-slick. Though, from experience I can tell you that it is not even remotely close to a semi-slick. When new it's got about as much grip as an S02, but when worn it has very little grip (ie. push the back out of the S2000 in he dry in 2nd gear at around 4k rpm).
