How was your butt after all that driving? Some people find the s2000 seats to be quite hard on a long drive.

Thanks for the report RR. Looks like a great trip. I did a similar one a few years ago but only up to Sydney.

I loathe every time I have to drive in Sydney's CBD. The traffic, the one-way streets, the no left turns, right turns... Aarrrgh. Last time I was there I was singing Shania Twain at the top of my lungs whilst driving around to keep my sanity.

The S2000 seats are pretty decent but I always wished for more lumbar support on long trips, until I found an easy way to add extra lumbar by inserting a towel behind the seat cushion

My main problem is that after many years of football & skiing my spinal column has accumulated some wear & tear - and so I find the firm seats are better for the old back than soft seats.

Diabolical??
The traffic in that photo is more like 11 am traffic. Or what we locals would call "A clean run!"

Yes, that photo was taken about 3.00PM on Thursday October 13, 2005.

There can be no dispute that Sydney has the worst traffic in Australia. All we can argue about is whether it is by a factor of 10 or a factor of 100. Any Brisbane or Melbourne people who have recently driven in Sydney might care to add their comments here too?
