Gotta be Great Wall of China and watching people drive in cars with no seat belts fitted and choosing which side of the road they want to drive on. Stopping at junctions appeared to be optional too!
We had more near misses in one day than I have had in a lifetime. The funniest bit was seeing a guy in an Audi 100 embeddeded in the front of a bus that he hit doing about 20kmh whilst turning a corner on the wrong side of the road. The look on his face was priceless!
For sheer terror in cabs, I recommend a visit to Taipei or Seoul - mind you I did have a one eyed cabbie in Milan once....

the most interesting for me would be a trade off between manilla/boracay philippines and jeddah Saudi Arabia although Brazil (Macae) came in a close second.

Spain, lots of beautiful historical places (Al-Hambra Palace and Qordoba Mosque) and lots of fun places (water parks, beaches, restuarants etc).
A vacation trip all over the US was great as well, we drove from NYC area down to Florida then west to California and finally back east through Grand Canyon and Las Vigas.
There is of course much of the world left to see still.
Dale, how long ago were you in Jeddah? I lived there a good 10 years of my life, huge city that never sleeps, loved it!.

Rejkavik in Iceland, that country is an amazing place.
From sipping coctails in a geothermically heated lake to white water rafting and skidoo racing.
I would urge anybody to go.

Scariest ride ever was flying into Hong Kong's old airport with Typhoon Victor just hitting the island and a gung-ho pilot who reckoned he could get us in!
We hit an air pocket on the final descent to the runway. Plenty of white knuckles and skiddies like Mars Bars!!!
