Team America
I keep seeing the promos for Team America World Police the new movie by the creators of South Park and I can't stop laughing. It's all "Supermarionation" like the original Thunderbirds. Ironic really considering the Thunderbirds movie used live actors. I guess they picked up them up at a jumble sale or something.
They're a bunch of American Police running around the world sticking their noses in other people's business and making a mess in the process (purely fictional of course).
I get the feeling the movie will be either really good or really bad, but most likely both.

I share your views on this Aus.
'They're a bunch of American Police running around the world sticking their noses in other people's business and making a mess in the process (purely fictional of course)."
I saw the signs plastered all over the local tram stops and couldn't work out whether it was a parody or intended to be genuine - I'm glad you enlightened me.

Buffy just brought back a DVD of Team America from Bali. I watched about 10 minutes of it and turned it off. Pathetic.
On the other hand I also got a copy of "Shaun of the Dead" (or Death as they prefer to call it). Can't wait to watch it again.

I thought Shaun of the Dead was quite funny. It's pretty sick on some parts though. Love it when Shaun and his buddy are coming home from the pub drunk, making a little tune then pausing for the zombie to chime in...

I just came back from the cinemas, it was greatly entertaining for us
I guess it's more directed towards late teens early 20's folks. I thought the movie was hilarious, but it's one of those things where you really need to watch it with a crowd... sometimes watching it quietly just isn't funny. It was worth my $11.70!
