sydney radio stations
hey for all those who get sydney radio stations, when ur not driving ur s and have to deal with only a radio what station do u listen to.
i used to listen to today fm but realised that it's just the same shit over and over again, top 20. i started flicking through the stations and came across triple m. now remember i'm originally from newcastle so i'm not used to the stations in sydney.
this station goes off!!!. now i like my music that rocks, none of this britney (love her tits) shit or nsync(pretty boys) crap.
the thing i realised was that most, nay, all of the ppl who call the station come from suburbs that i have to check the street directory for to make sure where they are.
anyway triple m has the music i love, triple j is just a little too off beat.

How is Alan Jones going at 2GB? How do Sydneysiders like his replacement at 2UE? Judging by the published ratings figures Jones seems to have taken his audience with him to his new station.
In Melbourne car radios suffer from interference when travelling on roads with tram lines. I asume this is from the electric current in the overhead lines and/or the big electric motors in the trams.
There must be some sort of filter/suppression device that you can fit to reduce or eliminate this. Naishou, what do you recommend?

JJJ is the only thing I can bear for more than a few minutes. MMM plays the occasional good song that you might not hear on JJJ but then it's just back to "ANOTHER BLOCK OF NON-STOP SCHLOCK COMING RIGHT AT YOU". Do commercial radio announcers have surgery to get that voice? There is one JJJ announcer who annoys me though. Francis Leech (Leach?) has to be the most clueless and yet opinionated twit on the radio. I nearly choke every time I hear him talk about his beloved "Malbourne" (sic). What is happening to some Victorians these days? Some kind of virulent disease causing speech impediments? Maybe it's the influence of too much American television
