FYI.
***********************************************
Was sent the below by a friend who works at the Rocks

Dear All

The Rocks Police will be conducting a traffic operation in the
Hickson Road
carpark, aimed at hotted up cars and associated offences in Hickson
Road
and surrounds.

The operation will be conducted Friday 15 th and Saturday 16th
August .
The times are from 7pm to approximately 2am.

The carpark will be used as a means of providing a secure area for
officers
to carry out vehicle and passenger inspections, in conjunction with
other
agencies such as RTA and EPA.

The officers will need to have access to car spaces 1 - 18 from 7pm.
Spaces 19 - 24 will not be effected. There will be no problem exiting
the
carpark during the operation.

Please contact me if car space 1 - 18 is yours, and you are unable to
leave
before 7pm.

I see these things in action every other weekend in wollongong. It seems that even when they know that they are goin to be there they still come back to show off.

Its as if the mods don't lighten their pockets enough so they need some defects for bragging rights.

Here's an email that was sent to a friend of mine from his friend that works at the RTA.

XXXXX,
if you're ever wankerish enuf to put your car on the internet or anything
like that (not that i think you would) make sure the number plate isn't
visible. I'm sure you'd do this anyway, but if you don't there is a chance
the RTA will hunt you down (not to mention theiven ).

We're going through 2 now, checking engineer certificates etc.

exurpt from email:

A couple of cars you may be interested in...

ITQ-11K, Nissan Silvia, reg'd with the original CA18 4cyl, fitted with a
much modified ex Skyline RB26DETT. Different turbo's, aftermarket engine
management chip, big boost, claimed 276kw at the wheels... see the latest
ZOOM magazine.

Also a Falcon located near the central coast near wyong, no reg number but
other details on

Interesting to think about.

You'd have to be silly to put your plate online!
