Default spark plugs

hey fellaz, jus did a service on my S. Did engine oil- 0w-40...Gearbox oil and diff oil both OEM. now i want to change plugs, but in the new NGK catalogue there is no part number under Iridum, only platinum. Was wondering if anyone has used Iridium plugs and if they are noticeably better than platinum plugs, how much and a part number if possible. Thanks for your help.

Ive been using NGK Iridium Spark Plugs Heat Range 8 BKR8EIX, cost anywhere from $50-$80 depends where you buy from. After changing from stock to these def feels alot smoother and more alive compared to before.

pretty sure the best performance plugs are the cheap coppers, iridiums and platinums just last longer between changes and because its so easy to change them on an S i run coppers and change them every 10,000
"Copper spark plugs are generally considered to have the best performance of any spark plug type. This is potentially different from what advertising companies suggest, but the other metals are, unfortunately, not as conductive in general as copper is. Platinum and iridium plugs are more likely to overheat, which causes damage to the plug components and can compromise the delivery of the spark to the engine block."

Yup, copper plugs are by far the best, but they wear out way quicker.
