old thread, i know...but digging up more info on changing soft tops this came up.
My top has formed 2 1cm rips on either sides where the soft top folds. Overall my soft top is still in good shape, the rear plastic is still clear. So im just debating whether i should spend the $800 or so replacing the soft top or just spend $100 and have it repaired by uticolor.
My only concern is that after having the repairs done and after a couple of times opening and closing the rip will occur.
Primarily i would like to hear the input of those who have had their soft tops repaired.

update: ended up buying a new soft top woohoo!
Emailed Vic, and ended up purchasing an EZ ON auto top in the stayfast canvas. Ended up costing $570 AUD landed!!
Apperently the EZ ON top is available as a replacement for the 02+ model S2000s. But he has some available for 00-01 so i just went with that, basically the same as a Robbins top except you will be paying abit more the Robbins top since they have been in the game abit longer...
