Vuey, thanks for the correction,
Phoenix#69 apologies for the confusion.
Cheers

Sorry KA I haven't the foggiest what you're on about?

Did I commit to buy a top off you on one of my drunken ventures onto this site? If so I apologise for any delay, a top would probably be very useful!
oops

No worries KingAir, glad to hear it's cleared up.

Notorious good to hear you're happy with the repairs. WHat did it run to in the end if you don't mind me asking?

Oh he originally quoted me $150 on the phone. But in the end he only charged me $100 because he said i was a nice friendly customer.

old thread, i know...but digging up more info on changing soft tops this came up.

My top has formed 2 1cm rips on either sides where the soft top folds. Overall my soft top is still in good shape, the rear plastic is still clear. So im just debating whether i should spend the $800 or so replacing the soft top or just spend $100 and have it repaired by uticolor.

My only concern is that after having the repairs done and after a couple of times opening and closing the rip will occur.

Primarily i would like to hear the input of those who have had their soft tops repaired.

Will the 02 model Honda OEM soft top fit straight onto the 99-01 models?

think your better off getting a glass window roof . Take advantage of the good exchange rate and buy it . Look at it as an investment bro, if your planning to keep the car long term .

update: ended up buying a new soft top woohoo!

Emailed Vic, and ended up purchasing an EZ ON auto top in the stayfast canvas. Ended up costing $570 AUD landed!!

Apperently the EZ ON top is available as a replacement for the 02+ model S2000s. But he has some available for 00-01 so i just went with that, basically the same as a Robbins top except you will be paying abit more the Robbins top since they have been in the game abit longer...
