Soft Top Repairs
Hey guys looks like ive got a crack developing in my soft top and was wandering if anyone had recommendations for repairers.
I'm located South-West but don't mind travelling for a good workshop.

Hey guys just for future reference, I had the top repaired by Robert from Uticolor after looking for recommendations on aus-cartalk and recommend him to anyone else in need of trim repairs.

It came up looking pretty good, color isn't a perfect match but that's due to my top being dirty and faded, it passes the 10ft test which is all I could really hope for. It will blend better when/if I 303 it or the repaired area becomes dirty.

try these steps to bring colour back to your roof ...
use a soft bristle brushed (i bought one from Woolworths ) and use mothers convertable top cleaner , use like a big toothbrush and do in a "wax on" motion to get into the fibers of the roof to remove the stubborn dirt ... and then rinse and dry the roof , then apply Aerospace 303 to give it a nice black gloss . Roof will look like new after that
i did it for my gf's car and it came up looking tip-top .

I usually give it a thorough clean when detailing but haven't tried the roof cleaner yet. I'll go grab a bottle for next time.

because i also need to repair my soft top.... has 2 1cm cuts that need to be repaired....
just wondering how much you paid to get it repaired and how long does it take? i'm also from the south-west area.

No worries, the repair was $100 and was a total of 6cm of weld and a patch on the inside. It did take some time to do (1hr) as the fabric had delaminated a bit and he used some fibreglass to fill the crack.
I actually met the guy in Castle Hill to get it done, but he does do the rounds, so give him a call and i'm sure he can fit you in, but may take a week.

just had my soft top repaired on Saturday by Robert from Uticolor... they were two 1cm cuts on both sides wear the soft top usually wears out.... i am happy with the outcome... took about 1 hour! i recommend him if you need your soft top repaired.
