Default Sik wheels for my Lancer

I need new tyres for my dark blue lance coupe and it's only a little extra to get some wheels so I need to choose......

I like the look of these shadow chrome concept 9s and I can get the 17" for $1000 with tyres fitted and balanced...

I think that 18" would be too big what do you guys think? It'd be an extra $200 for the 18s I think.

Is shadow chrome a nice finish? I will probably lower the car but just to close the gap, no dragging my arse like a dog with worms

Rice! Sorry, I mean nice!

ROH's Shadow Chrome is a great colour. Could well be different though.

17's would be absolute maximum and I expect even they will have you taking the blow torch to the springs to avoid the SUV look.

They look pretty schmick. I reckon 17's would be big enough (18's would be significantly heavier).

Personally I like shadow chrome.

Yeah I like the ROH shadow chrome too, I was going to get the adrenalins a while back but thought that they would be too "open" with such crummy looking brakes.

Is shadow chrome just an anodised colour or is it chrome with a tint? I dont want heavy ass wheels to knock me out of the 18s 1/4

I know Im probably going to get flamed for this but I was thinking about going cheap and getting the springs re-set to lower it

Its not like Im going to drive it hard, just laps around bankstown square and parking at bondi at night

They remind me of these prodrives for the S that I loved in gunmetal (British black) That's what caught my eye.

Yeah I like the look of the 7 spoke shadow chrome wheels. There are quite a few brands that offer 7 spoke in similar styles.
I was looking at some ALT 190 or 191 model wheels a while back, before I got my S.

When I clicked on this thread I was actually hoping that you had already put the wheels on and had a photo. I was gonna photoshop it and dump it on its ass. hehe

I did that with a mates xr8. Looked fully sik. LOL

I had a feeling that was the look you were after. The GC-07s are my favourite wheel and are even quite lightweight. The British Black looks awesome too.

I agree, but then Aust is concerned that what you see through them will be less than impressive.

Perhaps he should invest in some of these.

I recently saw them at Parklee Markets.
