Gawd you guys are quick getting back on the forum ...Nearly as fast as your driving

Sorry to be so late getting back onto the forum to check in guys...I got back home at 7:45pm with an extra 562km's on the clock and my dinner in the oven and my wife's dinner guests into the dessert....then my wife said "i'll just get on the girls chat line for a while"

I had to pull off the sloooow freeway to gas up....at one stage was creeping along at 20kph....

Anyway one and all, a fabulous and tiring day with great company....was creeping along the freeway thinking how strange it is in these days of computer communication to get people (virtual strangers) with similar interests together for a wonderful day out.

Thanks to all again and hope to catch up soon and will try and get some pics up in the next day or two.

AusS2000: For showing the way and setting the pace .

Austblue: thanks heaps for the phone communication even if my reception was a bit 'dicky'

MyYellow: For being there with your camera and enthusiasm.

Jackhammer: Just for being Jackhammer..(tell Jo my wife will come along on the next run )

DaveFromSydney:

And everyone else i haven't mentioned (running out of steam here)

Cheers to all from : Slow & Steady 'Tail-Gunner' Stan

Oh, and if Turkey is around, ask him what the weather was like in Melbourne.

If anyone wants their photos posted send them to me and I'll put them on my server.

You can zip (or sit for the Mac cognicienty) them all up into one archive and email them to me. Just make sure they are a usable size (no bigger than 640x480) and well JPEG'd (medium setting) before sending or you'll just be wasting bandwidth. If you don't understand the above, you got some research to do but it's well worth it.

Alternatively I can set up some FTP space. PM me for a Host/User/Pass. Same rules apply.
