During the drive we saw a Viper ripping around Cessnock, and a pearl orange Ferrari 575 Maranello.

I peeled off at Gosford to take the Old Pacific Highway since the expressway was supposed to be very slow.

And I got done for speeding in the first mile.

My first fine in over 6 years. The copper got me for 94 in a 70 zone on a beautiful straight bit of downhill road, much better than the 100-rated stuff we were driving on earlier, with excellent visibility, except for quota-hungry coppers coming over the horizon with their in-car radar on.

Yeah, shocked us to death when we saw the Maranello.. thought i was going blind!

I didn't see the Viper though, was it a 95, red with yellow strips? If so thats the Viper in my area.

Bad luck on the fine Dave. I was amazed at how few boys in blue we saw, but they were all on the way home.

Yellow - Yep, it was the stripey Viper.

I forgot to mention that on the way there we saw two Morgans on the M2.

That was a great drive!

I've never had so much fun before in the S2000. It now has about 4900+ km's on it.... LOL!

I'll never forget the sound of all the cars taking off from a slow, or standing start. That VTEC roar. Amazing.

I loved the twisties . And GRRRR to old, blue camry's that like to speed up and take the middle of the road on straights.

I did a double take when I saw that Maranello. Did anyone happen to have their camera at the ready?

Dave, that sucks about the fine. I too was going to go the Old Pacific, but decided against at the last minute. Ended up driving most of the way back to Pennant Hills Road at about 50-60km/h. Bumper to bumper on the freeway.

It was great to put a name to all the faces.

wil..

ps. and hey, wayne, \"Buffy\" kinda does look like Buffy . Didn't believe you when you mentioned it before hehe.

Got home around 7 guys making it a 12 hour trip and 550kms.

Sorry to hear about that Dave but I guess you're right better then than earlier in the day. We got on and off the old a couple of times and managed to dodge most of the traffic until the end of the freeway.

Good to hear that you got home H9k I hope you enjoyed your excursion through NSW

I seen that maranello and had my camera turned on on the passenger seat but the lazy thing wouldn't focus in time Took a nice pic of the steering wheel though

Dang those vipers are ugly enough without that terrible colour scheme

Thanks for taking so many great photos guys I cant wait to see them. I looked through mine and some are ok (good for me) The one that I took of Jackhammer in my rear view is my fave but I cut out a little of the front end
