Hi,

I hope you not still thinking Singapore prices for cars out here. Here the Z4M goes for less than you'll pay for an S2K in Singapore.
yes am aware of that The Z4M is a beaut, and a monster to drive! Had the chance to try one when one of my friends did a review of it. It's still not within my budget though.

Very keen to head back to Cabra. The food was great.

Maybe we should do a 'Welcome Jade/Don't buy a 350Z' meet.
It'll be nice to meet all of you! Perhaps in a few weeks' time?

Jade, you up for this?

You can get a close up look on a few s2000's and it might help you get an idea of why their the HEAPSE bestest in the world.
that's a great idea! So far I've only spotted 2 on the other side of the roads, going in the opposite direction

A black one going to Rhodes when I was going out of it, and a yellow one along victoria road towards city near leitchhard (is that how you spell it?)

Where abouts do you live Jade. We can probably even arrange a lift for you. I'd offer but as my S is off the road I'm not sure the ute would have the desired affect.
Thanks for the offer! Let you know closer to the day

While at the Motor Show a few weeks ago I spent a lot of time at the Nissan stand looking at the new 230kw 350Z. Was seriously contemplating swapping my S for it the entire evening. I even engaged in a serious conversation after the show with my other half on the financials of it all. Started thinking about first mods on the Z while having coffee, then ran into a 20 year old friend (younger sister of another friend) and asked her what she thought of the Z as I was considering it. Her response - "What!? Don't get the Z man, it's like for old dudes and stuff. It's like for middle-aged bald guys who want to look cool again. The S is sooo much cooler, so you." And right there and then, I was convinced by a young girl with little car knowledge on why I shouldn't bother with the Z and massaged my ego at the same time. Sounds kinda fickle and shallow, but it was enough to deter me and haven't thought about swapping the S for the Z ever since.

Anyway, thought about the Z4 non-M versions at all?

Considered those... but if I wanted to mod anything on a Z4 it'd be more expensive compared to an S... maintenence would also be a killer on the pockets...
