I have to agree on both points! Chortle chortle.

I still think the price is too high. For mine, the absolute maximum price payable for a given vehicle is the lowest price anyone else is asking for a similar car. And you should still be able to get a substantial discount from there.

By my understanding there was a red '99 with about 100k sold early last year (i.e. nearly 2 years ago) for $36k.

Also by my understanding, the car had some issues. Still, it's food for thought when you're looking at another vehicle 2 years later where the asking price is a substantial $8k higher.

I guess the proof is in the pudding. How about we all wait and see what it sells for?
